I don't think that there is any policy that prohibits making such a statement in the listing, however, by policy the buyer must still have the option to pay via a credit card.

There is a limit, I think $10K, at which point PayPal may require that a buyer pay via echeck rather than credit card.

Particularly with higher priced items the credit card does provide the buyer an additonal layer of protection/recourse, and therefor comfort in use. In contrast it does provide the seller with higher fees and angst.
