Brian, not that Rhett needs me to respond for him, but the very-comprehensive, 8-page article entitled "1920-22 E121 and Related Sets: Many of the Mysteries Unraveled" that Rhett authored appeared in the Fall 2011 - Issue #26 of Old Cardboard Magazine. I have gone back and reviewed Rhett's masterpiece many times, and a few years ago, I scanned the 4 pages that cover the W575-1 and W501 issues - here they are:
