Default Excuse my idiocy, but what does "Who's your Daddy?" mean?

Posted By: David Halpen

In this context, Pedro used a hip-hop music expression by referring to the Yankees as his "daddies" when he lost to them in the regular season. The term "daddies" is used in hip-hop music to refer to being owned by another. Pedro was saying that the Yankees owned him because he could not beat them. The expression "Who's your Daddy" is a derogatory hip-hop music expression to make fun of someone who cannot beat another.
