Default Question about Item- Baseball Stamp Template

Hi, I am new to the forum. I aquired what the seller referred to as a "type block." it appears to be some sort of template as can be seen in the picture. It says "1923" and "Athletics," presumably the philadelphia athletics. Has anyone ever seen something like this, let alone put a value on it?[linked image]
