Paul I've been away on vacation or I would have responded sooner to your posting. The card you have was auctioned several months ago on ebay by Scott Gaynor. I bid on it but lost. However, I did win his the Ruth/Hornsby card from the same set. I don't know anything about the history of either card or the origins of the photos. The Ruth/Hornsby photo also appears on an 8x10 Cuban tobacco premium. It may be that there is a similar premium version of the Speaker.
