Thanks William... very interesting about the curvature.
From the photo, it looks like the leather is darker above those seams (towards the finger tips), making them appear "capped". Guess it's just an illusion.
I'm sure that Graig appreciates this unnecessary over-analysis. Probably making him uneasy about painting this one... sorry!
