Players used to wear their uniforms from the previous season during spring training, and Peitz is wearing his Cincinnati uniform from 1904. He only played for Pittsburg in 1905 and 1906. Claude Ritchey is second from the left in the bottom row and Ginger Beaumont is on the far right in the bottom row; they were traded away from the Pirates in December, 1906. Honus Wagner is missing because he hated spring training.
