I was the underbidder on that Brown. I may be wrong but i think the Cubs used the Whales jerseys for the first paRT of 1916. I remember seeing a team photo from spring training where they are wearing the whales jerseys. Also that is Jimmy Lavender next to Brown and he never played with the Whales, plus the 1916 stamp on back
