Antique shops, antigue shows, antique malls, sports shops, garage sales, networking among fellow hobbyists (I look out for "his" pennants, he looks out for "my" pins), sports shows, junk shops, fleas markets, and local auctions (maybe one pin among 500 lots of household items). Worst idea of all time: Place an ad in the classified section of USA Today. Ad cost something like several hundred dollars, I got ONE response, for one of those little enamel clutch-back give-away items. My hopes for snagging a 6" 1927 NY Yankees team head-shot pin were not fulfilled. [No, no such pin is known to exist. But a guy can dream, right?]
