Aaron M.Mark, you and I continue to share similar taste! I was watching that managers fan too, but I couldn't figure out where I would place it in my display room, so I passed (probably a couple ticks above what I would have considered a bargain for it anyway).
I was also watching that Black Betsy bat, which looked beautiful, but with the bat having been refinished and restored, I shied away from it (and judging by the final price, so did alot of people).
I did end up getting one of the two sports-related lots that I went seriously after: the 1906 NY Giants scorecard, but I was the underbidder on the George Senesky Warriors basketball jersey. I couldn't afford both! That jersey will go in the "ones that got away" category, as it would have been a perfect addition to my basketball display and I'd been looking for a Warriors road jersey from that era for years.
