As soon as they got the clearly identified tobacco card in the mail they sent me a nasty email saying I had been deceptive and they thought they were getting a real Isaac Newton autograph.

I asked them if they really thought they were getting a genuine ~$10,000 17th Century autograph of Sir Isaac Newton for $25 or so dollars and they got even more angry. Best to just refund and move on.

You should have sent them a link to the latest Coach's Corner auction and let them know they have at least a half dozen Sir Isaac Newton autographs coming up in the next year, worth "in the thousands", but he might be able to win one for under a $100. Then he can pay for it with the signed Ben Franklin $100 bill he purchased on Ebay the week before.
