I give my sincere thanks to everyone who commented on the list I posted. Sorry if it raised a few eyebrows. I am fairly new to pre-war material (clearly) and made a couple of unconventional choices as a result. In any event, I welcome the feedback and appreciate the opportunity to learn from everyone here.
I did respond to the OP rather quickly and it would have done me well to think things through a bit more thoroughly before chiming in. Moving forward, I will make every effort to follow my own advice here...so as not to make an @$$ out of myself too regularly
I thought about editing my post and revising my list somewhat; however, ultimately decided against it. Instead, I figured it best to simply admit that I weighed in too quickly, apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and chalk this up as a learning experience.
