Default Articles on T210 and T212 from 1957-1966

One thing I like about going through old hobby publications is seeing what collectors in the past knew, or didn't know, about different card sets that I'm familiar with. Here are a few example from 50 to 60 years ago that may be of interest to some people here. The first article below is about T210s, written by Bob Solon for the December 1, 1966 Card Collectors' Bulletin. It's interesting to see how new cards in the set had steadily been discovered, and that even 50 years ago they didn't know about all the cards we know today (639? 640?).

The second article below is by Preston Orem from the February 1957 Sport Hobbyist, and is about T212 Obaks. Following that is a longer article on T212s, written by Buck Barker for the April 1, 1961 Card Collectors' Bulletin (#131). Both Orem and Barker correctly knew the basic facts about the set(s), and spend most of their articles writing about the players and the teams.

Later this week I'll try to post some other articles from this era about other T card sets, and about 19th century cards (including about five articles about Old Judges from CCB). There was an article about T209s in the April 1968 Sports Collectors News (vol. 1, no. 2), but unfortunately that's one of the two issues of that publication (out of 124) that I don't have. I thought I remembered seeing an article on T209s in some old hobby publication, but I can't remember where and don't have time to look for it.
