Wondering if we have any Toronto residents or SABRE experts with access to historical Toronto area newspapers on this website ?? I'm having issues getting newspaper ad info on home games for the Blue Jays in 1998 for a research project I am working on.
In particular I'm looking for any May or August 1998 Toronto Star or Toronto Sun ads or inserts placed by beer giant Labbat's. These are central to my research. I already know the specific dates having done my own homework already just now at a standstill and need feet on the ground that can access additional avenues I have neither the time nor energy to put towards due to excessive outside needs (as in my time is better spent elsewhere rather than further digging!!)
I would be willing if someone were able to do the footwork to compensate said individual a generous and reasonable amount for the time expended. My budget is approximately $300 for the project. If your local may take anywhere from 2-5 hours of labor looking thru microfiche or newspaper copies at a library or online if they are online.
If the research is successful and I obtain the necessary background info payment will be made via PayPal to the person who is able to get me the info I need
