Hi Rich-

It's not a guarantee that it sells for over $10k. I think you could put a value of $9k on the card, and get it graded for $500.

There are many threads on these forums about Auction Houses. Each person here has their favourites or preferences. The two that I most frequently do business with (As a consignor, and as a bidder) are Robert Edwards Auctions and Love of the Game Auctions.

In REA, even a great card like this might not get the limelight / prominence that it may get in a smaller auction house like LotG. However, REA might have a slightly broader reach in terms of customer list.

There are some Auction Houses a few of us will routinely avoid. But there are many other good, decent ones, including many that are owned/supported by folks that frequent Net54.

It's a great card. Despite the paper loss, it has really strong eye appeal and contrast. Also, depending on your laziness quotient factor, the Auction House can submit on your behalf (which would be a negotiated part of your consignor contract) if you'd rather just send the AH your card instead of getting it graded and then consigning it
