Default 1st edition baseball encyclopedia: forseeable value?

Posted By: Max Weder

The 1969 Baseball Encyclopedia was probably the single biggest reason I became a baseball fan. I found it as a Grade 9 student in the school library. It opened up a world of players who I had never heard of-- Jeff Heath, Vean Gregg and countless other lesser known stars. The details of Ruth, Hornsby and Cobb's stats lines was impressive. I could review all the seasons in detail statistically.

That said, it was published in large numbers, it shows up routinely on ebay and I can't see it becoming a very valuable book. Which of course means exactly the opposite will happen
