The back of Marty Marion's 1951 Bowman says shortstop and manager, as I recall. I'll dig him out and post his scan tomorrow, unless someone beats me to that. And I think Cobb and Speaker in W512 both have a version that says ex-manager, after they both joined the Athletics following their gambling mess. And there's bound to be a Goudey back that has something like that... maybe Hornsby, but I don't have a Goudey Hornsby to check that. Just says that he bats right on the back of his Diamond Star card.
