In the article an owner says "Something's worth what someone's willing to pay for it."

So, then, why is there a beef that no one is willing to pay their asking price? If the highest someone has been willing to pay for the card is $25, then, according to the owner, it's worth $25. If the owners haven't found a buyer then, according to the the owner's definition, the card is worth less than their asking price.
