john/z28jdI once contacted the Pirates directly a couple years ago and stopped them from celebrating Jason Kendall breaking the teams all-time games caught record about a week before it was supposed to happen.They had George Gibsons total wrong by about 30 games or so.I explained everything to them and cited sources and then they went to SABR to make sure.Then i heard on the radio broadcast about 2 hours later than the Pirates were contacted by SABR when they realized the error and it was also announced in the local newspapers again the next day,again citing SABR as the source.
Anyway,Good job Hal,a lawyer did something good for once
