I had the pleasure of meeting Eddie and his family in Seattle a few years back. Eddie was invited by the Mariners to throw out the first pitch at a 'Turn Back The Clock' game and a few of us enjoyed a dinner with Eddie the night before as he entertained us with many stories. He was incredibly sharp as he rattled through the roster of teammates from 70 year earlier. Congratulations to Eddie for attaining the magic century mark
