barrysloateI threw in the towel, and I actually do have some baseball books and guides for sale. When I get around to them I will almost surely use ebay, because it opens things up to a large pool of bidders I couldn't find anywhere else.
Although Mark's collection did appear on ebay, the combination of the large lots and the lack of any descriptions or pictures made it a user unfriendly experience.
Why did the auction house think that by stringing together 27 titles in a lot description that every bidder would be familiar with them? I needed a lot more information, and books is one of my areas of expertise.
