I’ve been to baseball reference and seen his page but outside of a birth year and stats there isn’t anything else.

Is there any other online resources that might give a bit more information?

Any help is appreciated but with such a small footprint in baseball history there might not be much more on him.

Thanks in advance,

Not alot in newspapers.com, at least if you search Richard "Tex" Jones. He hailed from Washington D.C., was blond with a high voice , played American Legion ball at a high level, and appeared in two articles from 1946, one from 1950 and one from 1952.
