Steve M.we had to put down our beloved Max a week ago. He too was 14 years old, a big lug and a true friend. But you know he's better off...no more pain...no more unable to get up and once up falling. And he went so peacefully as the vet said "he was ready". I take solace, as do you, that the suffering is over.
