Don't accept paypal payments unless you are a full-time or high volume business. I decided not to allow Paypal payments precisely because of the high cost of credit card payments combined with the buyer's virtually limitless ability to screw with my account via spurious protests. The only exception is on book sales, where I am willing to "risk" a chargeback since the cost of it is only one book.
