Judge Dred (Fred)There's really not much that anyone can say. Losing a dog is like losing a family member. I've had plenty of pet dogs over the years. The one that I remember most is one that I had to put down when he was 16 years old. That was tough. It was just his time. If I didn't put the dog down he'd have been miserable. It was really one of the tougher things to do but considering the alternative I knew it was the right thing to do. One nice thing about dogs is that they understand our joy when we look at our cards. When we smile, the dog knows it must be a cool card.
