Brockelman Summer 2016 Auction ENDS TONIGHT! Initial bidding will end Saturday June 25, 2016 at 11:00 p.m. EST, at that time the auction will enter into extended bidding, with each lot ending on an individual basis after a 30 minute period of no bids on the lot. You must have placed a bid on lots prior to initial closing in order to bid on them in the extended bidding. If there is only one bid on a lot at the end of initial bidding, the lot will not go into extended bidding, nor will lots without bids. At this time there are still some unopened lots that might be won for the opening bid.
This is not a format that requires you to stay up all night and try to outlast another bidder, most lots will end within 1 hour of the initial bidding ending. You can use the "max bid" feature should you not be available at the auction ending.
There are over 400 lots of Sports and Non-Sports cards, along with memorabilia and signed cards from many genre's. Many special type cards are offered, among them are high-grade N300 Mayo Cut Plug. T204 Walter Johnson , dozens of graded T204 Ramly and T.T.T. cards, T206 Lots and singles and many more pre-war cards. This auction is particularly heavy in post-war Topps and Bowman cards, many in small graded group lots, with opening bids lower than the cost to get them graded. Larger lots are also offered for the collector or dealer. Football is also well represented with high-grade Fleer sets from 1960, 1961, 1962 & 1963. There is also a wide range of autographed material, highlighted by an older collection of Yellow HOF Plaques which includes several tougher autographs, as well as other autographed material. Hartland, Southland and S.A.M. Figurines are also well represented.
