You'll probably pay more for cards at shows than you would on Ebay - you MIGHT be able to make some deals, but dealers are paying a premium for the table and the spot and transportation PLUS most dealers will start their prices sky-high

try to find a niche, yes that sounds good - do research - I know a friend on the board who found a T205 variation (Moran stray line probably worth 6-800) for 20 dollars because the dealer didn't know what he had.

these stories are few and far between.

do research, and accept the fact that you will probably get burned a few times if you're not careful -
