Joe ToccoI was taken for $800 on a pre-order for some football cases in 1998. A criminal created a shell corporation, pre-sold the cases under its name (about $30,000), then the corporation declared bankruptcy. No money or cards. I'm sure a judge or jury would have "pierced the coporate veil" and found the scamster liable, but he was in Nebraska and I in California, and the only interested Nebraska lawyer I could find wouldn't touch the case for less than $1200.
