The only pre 1920 set that I would say is still "cheap" is the M101-4/M101-5 Sporting News sets (outside of the Babe Ruth rookie of course).

If you are a fan of graded cards, this is one set where you can still pick up higher grade commons for less than $100. I don't think that can last too long, so I'd say that is one set that you can beat the "$800 for a PSA 8 1933 Goudey common" crowd to.
