Need some help please. I have this original Jackie Robinson snapshot photo from "1940 at Radford Institute".
If the information is correct, what event might this be from that Jackie attended?
There's a patch on his sweater...hoping might help ID (variety sports? event?). He was involved with several sports including track, basketball, football, swimming, tennis and of course baseball. However, not sure if they would travel to Virginia (unless there's another Radford Institute elsewhere).
This is the earliest snapshot of Jackie, I've personally seen.
