So what is your fickleness?
Don't care what the back looks like as long as the front looks EX or better. And then I see there is another world outside T206s. So now I moved on to E-cards.
Are you obsessed with the condition or grade of the card?
Grade is just a number. I prefer eye-appeal over grade - with affordability considerations.
Must your cards be perfectly centered?
No, but close enough is good.
Are you allergic to plastic (TPG) and crack cards routinely out of their slab?
No.
Are you primarily concerned with rarity and put your faith in POP reports?
No. But if an affordable rarity pops up, I'll take my shot.
Is something that was once considered trash from the printer, the focus of your "scrap" collection?
What???
Are you making a living, or trying to, flipping cards for profit?
Profit is the last thing on my mind.
Or does the focus of your collection trump any concern about the "bottom line" of your hobby pursuits?
No. There will always be something outside my focus that I might find interesting.
Are you a type collector or a set collector?
Type.
Are you a hunter, who sells a set when it is completed, or a hoarder, who never sells and has a seemingly endless supply of closets?
Hoarder.
Do you fraternize with other collectors, even though they may bidding against you or are you a "lurking hermit"?
I don't know that many for me to fraternize. So I guess that make me a lurking perv-... errrr, hermit!
Fess up. There is something about your collecting habits that many others would consider "fickle".
I don't know. I will let you decide. Let me know if you see a pattern.
