Had my best flea market day in a long time yesterday! The mini-haul includes:

A 1960's Pabst Blue Ribbon beer/baseball display. Molded plastic with wooden frame and cardboard backing. Has a list of home run leaders from 1893-1914 and a tribute to Home Run Baker.

-A complete newspaper from Oct 6th, 1920 that covers in detail inside (with a red banner on the front page) Game 2 and Game 1 results of the 1920 World Series between the eventual Champs, the Indians and the Brooklyn Dodgers (Robins).

-1970 USO banquet program and menu from an event held in Beverly Hills, signed by Mr. Cub - "Ernie Banks Chi-Cubs 1970" and some additional actors. Also came with a USO table card and an USO lighter.

-4 Louisville Famous Slugger booklets from 1962 (Maris), 1965, 1966 and 1968 (each with Clemente on the cover)

-9 1938-39 Quaker Oats Hockey, mail in redemption photos - all Toronto Maple Leafs, and two Beehives.

-1980 World Series LP, with narrated history of Classics past.

_Cool, vintage sleeveless jersey with awesome chain stitched name (Suburban Mercurys) from a local (Victoria, BC) sporting goods store and team.

-An envelope of 25 photo cards from the Berlin Olympics in 1936. No Owens in this set unfort.

-2 items from the Penticton Vees - a former senior men's ice hockey team that represented Canada in the 1955 World Ice Hockey Championships where they won Canada's 16th world championship title.
wow way to go Chris!!!
