Alan- the one you have is clearly an original. I believe SABR reprinted the 1867 guide a number of years ago and passed them out to those members who attended that year's national convention. Maybe that isn't exactly correct, but the 1867 was reprinted.
It is almost impossible to find a 150 year old guide in pristine condition. The one you have pretty much sums up what you would expect it to look like, given they were made using poor quality paper. There are some Beadle Guides that have survived well, but those are rare indeed.
