BryanI need some advice. I fellow collector of mine has a really great looking sig of Christy Mathewson. The sig is a cut but is amazing. It is not verified and I wish I had a picture to post and show but my question is what is a fair asking price for this? He has said that he will part with for $1000 - $1500 for the cut which is framed with an old matty picture. Is it worth the cash or should get the sig verified. He told me that the sig came from California, but I forget which shop it came from - one of the big internet shops. Any advice?
