Sometime in the past few months 4sc's raw division, NESC, started offering their items primarily through auctions. In most cases, the sets/lots they offer now typically sell for more via auction than they did when they were fixed price listings. What is interesting with the NESC auctions is that the auctions end between noon and 6 pm M-F...some of the prices realized have been strong(as compared to their previous BIN prices). Most would argue that auctions seem to achieve better results ending in the evenings versus before 7 PM.

Perhaps the NESC auction results have prompted 4sc to take the same approach.

IMO, across ebay over the past year, auction results on vintage sets/lots have been much stronger than they have been in the past decade. I now find myself searching the newly listed BINs for bargains versus the ending soon auctions as the bargains have moved from the auctions to the BINs.
