Default Moral Question

Posted By: Kevin Cummings

It appears that she has come to you as a friend, thinking that you would know more about the cards' value than she would. It seems to me she is trusting that you would do "the right thing" and make your best guess as to their true worth.

Regardless of whether she actually asks you what they are worth, isn't the "morally correct" thing to do to tell her and then if you want to buy them, negotiate a fair price?

Isn't that what you'd want someone to do for you if the tables were turned?
