I don't subscribe to VCP, I pay what I want for the cards I buy. The ones I'm after aren't offered very often, and holding myself to what some guide suggests, notwithstanding how current and accurate it may be, would only hinder my collecting efforts.
As I see it some folks will pay more. Great! That's fewer dollars chasing the cards I want. Those cards won't be bought with good information, it will take dollars. And the VCP folks will have a few less.
I started to post the first response, but held my piece for a while... I do think that the product that is offered has a fair degree of accuracy, just so long as the information is used with knowledge of what it is and how it was gathered, rather than blindly followed.
