Here's a page from a 1936 General Electric calendar showing the first-ever major league night game at Crosley Field the season before. The woman dressed in white against a sea of men dressed in black reminds me of that scene in "The Natural" where Iris stands up and Roy Hobbs catches a glimpse of her before hitting a home run and breaking out of a slump.
