B HodesI am with the first Major League card school of "Rookie" cards.
The minor league cards may be his "first card" but not his "rookie card." After all the common definition of "Rookie" is rookie in the majors -- the "Rookie of the Year" is given to the best player in his first Major League season.
Oh and I really like the T207 Weaver it is one of the nicest cards in that set (the text on the back of it captures the kind of player weaver was too). The minor league card is attractive too, but nothing interesting is on the back.
