Rob Lthe forged Ruth. I did a bit of research before I purchased this. It is a receipt and the seller had a plausible story. They also had a COA from Everything Baseball.
I compared this signature with many examples from different catalogs, looking at the slant of the letters and letter formation. I did observe the loop in the B and e-R portion of the signature, however, these are not uncommon as I found at least 10 signatures in the Halper collection with the loop and 3 or 4 with the "e" touching the R. I think the perfect straight line through the "t" may be part of the issue.
Like I said earlier, I lived and learned on this.
