Yours pictures the 1903 Pirates pennant winning team, which was referred to as the "Champions for 1904.". This was a common title at the time, but can now be confusing. The Giants won the NL pennant in 1904 and were referred to as the "Champions for 1905" at the time.

Here is the Pittsburg composite from 1903 from an image that I stole from the internet. Again, it pictures members of the 1902 pennant winning team.
