...it has nothing to do with the Yankees. It's just a jersey from a local team from probably the late '30s. I just like it because it says Yanks. I get a lot of stares and questions when I wear it to the Stadium.
I once wore it to Fenway, and a couple people thought it was the 'Boston Yanks' (football team).
