The night Harvey Milk and Mayor Mosconi were assassinated, Diane Feinstein got up in front of the crowd at City Hall in S.F. and said

"This great jewel of a city is darkened."

No murders, nothing like that, but I sort of feel that way about this Forum, once one of the high points of my day.
