Simply stated, it pre-dates the ‘48/‘49 Leaf by at least a full calendar year, and its vast distribution in numerous major cities solidifies it as a mainstream issue. FYI, this is by no means a “self-serving” push for the 1947 Bond Bread Jackie since I own TWO mid-grade “48 Leaf Jackies. It’s simply a bonafide petition for the hobby to “get it right”!
