Uniform
I just spoke with Scott; He's a very nice guy, and we were able to come to an agreement to send the uniform his way.
I wanted to clarify his comments on me offering him the jersey. It turns out that we both went into the auction with the same max price in mind. I went to the auction with a $1200 to $1300 limit in mind, and Scott told me he had set a $1200 limit for himself. Going in I didn't know if I'd have to pay that, but with the online portion, and the number of big time buyers in the room, I thought there was a good chance. At the end of the day, I was buying to resell (I am a diehard collector, but not of baseball items), and Scott was buying for his own collection. With that in mind, I offered it to him at the total that either of us would have had to pay by winning it at $1200.00. It is a great uniform, and I would have loved to have it until someday I sold it, but I am glad at the end of the day Scott is ending up with it.
