I completed one transaction with him in the late 1980s. I was at the Disneyland Hotel and if I recall correctly Pete Rose was signing that day. I bought two complete w551 sets in uncut strips. I was real young back then but the guy was very nice and friendly. I got back into the hobby last year from a seventeen year lay off and I called him. I wanted to ask him a few questions regarding the uncut strips and I was very surprised that he remembered those sets he had and somewhat remembered our deal. We talked for about fifteen minutes and was very helpful and friendly.
