Great suggestion!
Although my initial suggestion was a bit tongue-in-cheek, it would be an amazing image in Kreindlercolor™.
The first time I saw that image was in Ken Burns'
Baseball documentary, and they presented it by showing a super close-up of Ruth's grinning face, then slowly panning out (in typical Burns style) to reveal all the anxious kids surrounding the Babe.
Simply a perfect capture of a moment in time, when things were much simpler, and Babe Ruth was the most popular athlete on the planet.
I think the image appears photoshopped due to the high contrast and amazing quality of black and white photography. When you get a good photographer, the right lighting, and a decent camera, you'd be amazed at the
quality of vintage photography.
