I have a bunch of Undated Pittsburgh Pirates, Forbes Field, John Galbreath President tickets. Trying to determine if there is a way to date these tickets.
The overlap of John Galbreath being president and the Pirates playing at Forbes Field is 1950 to June of 1970 (20 years).
There were two companies that produced these tickets Ansell-Simplex & Globe Ticket Co. Phila as seen in image.
I have seen two tickets with written dates:
Ticket dated 9/7/64 - Suspicious of date: 2 Mays HRs, Clemente HR and Perry win.
1964 Game 46 was against St. Cards played on 7/13
Ticket dated 10/2/69 - Nothing too special about this date, Clemente 3 hits
1969 Game 45 was against Expos played on 7/8
