Default Heritage Fall 2014 Signature Auction is LIVE!

Hey Everyone,

Bidding for the Fall 2014 Heritage Sports Signature Auction has already started and catalogs go into the mail today! Once again we feel there is a great selection of vintage card singles, sets and unopened packs, many from new to the hobby collections. We are offering a new “Magie” error, T210 Stengel and Babe Ruth rookie card! If you would like a catalog please email me all of your mailing information at peterc@ha.com and we will send one right out.

Bidding for the card lots in session one ends on Thursday, November 6, 2014. Same format as last auction, you have to have bid on a lot before 10pm central time to be able to bid during the 30-minute extended period. Each lot ends on its own 30-minute clock rule. Be sure to check the final session on November 8, there is a nice selection of vintage cards there too. The home page for the auction is at: http://sports.ha.com/c/search.zx?sal...llforum-101514. Registration is free!

I think we have a great selection. This auction starts off with a “Just So” Nig Cuppy. After that 19th century fans will find Cap Anson cards from the N28 and N300 Mayo series plus N284s and a rarely offered N184 Kimball’s near master set (73 of 75 cards with all 25 “With ad” variants). The 20th Century starts off with a new collection of M101-1s. Joe Jackson fans will find not one but two great looking E90-1 American Caramels, two BF2 felts, a 1914 Cracker Jack and a pair of 1940 Play Ball cards. Caramel card highlights include fresh finds of E93s (plus some high grade singles), E95s, E96s, E106s, E120s, E121s and a very nice E103 Wagner. Tobacco fans will find a great selection of T206s with scarce backs and both Cobb portraits with his name at the top and bottom and a selection of Hindu Red and Brown backs plus D303s, 1914 and ’15 Cracker Jacks plus a collection of “Holsum Bread” cards! The M116 Sporting Life set is well represented as is Ty Cobb via his D304, E90-1, E94, E95, E103, T206s (over a dozen to choose from), T213, M101-4, 1914 Cracker Jack, T202 and Sport Kings cards.

Post card fans, there is a great selection of fresh examples from the PC796, Ullman, Novelty Cutlery and Rose Co. series.

Naturally we have a set of E98 cards from the Black Swamp find. From the ‘30s there is a selection of incredible Sports Kings, a complete Delong set (as singles), '29 Kashin cards of Ruth, Gehrig and a PSA NM Hadley. The '33 Goudey set is represented by a #106 Lajoie plus multiple Ruth and Gehrig cards. The Football and Hockey sections are pretty impressive as well.

There is a fantastic offering of Boxing cards this time. Cards from literally around the world! Don’t miss the largest collection of “Police Gazette” premiums ever offered, a new find of E211 York Caramel cards, a very rare 1948 Leaf Graziano card plus numerous lots of 19th and 20th Century boxing cards from the USA and countries abroad. Post-war fans won’t be disappointed either, particularly 1952 Topps Mantle enthusiasts – we offer no less than five examples from SGC Authentic to SGC 86 NM+!

As mentioned, the auction ends on November 6, 7 and 8!

Good Luck!

Peter
