Default The Sporting News and Willard Mullin Artist....

Hi,

I am new here but have a couple questions.

Can someone tell me the issue of The Sporting News which features the artwork of Frankie Frisch? The art was drawn by Willard Mullin. I believe it might be from the late 1930s.

I am also looking for the artwork from Willard Mullin, from May 1941, titled McGee Fiddles while Terry burns. The excerpt was taken from the obituary section in The Sporting News dated March 2nd, 1987.

I am not looking for the original art, because that would be nearly impossible to find...I am merely looking for an original newspaper which might show the art. I can find the papers on eBay if someone can tell me the dates the art is published in the paper.

I am also a paying member at paperofrecord.com for a few years and also a paying member on newspapers.com but have not come across the artwork in my search.

Thanks for any input in advance.
